vlog experi(ence)(ment) #1
The (maybe)daily braingrapes of a sinner made saint. Though I'm a pastor with Midtown Fellowship, all the thoughts here are my own and don't necessarily reflect the opinions of Midtown Fellowship or any its other staff.

If you’re like me, you’re going to drink coffee at some point during the day. So, why not use what you’re already going to do to change lives? Change your brand to Gobena and 100% of the profit goes to help orphans in Ethiopia. Every pound you buy will feed an orphan for a month.
To top it off, Gobena is fresh-roasted, fair trade, and organic shade grown coffee… and delicious!
Follow the link (its in the title) and make the switch.
John the Baptist, John 3:30
I’m learning this (often the hard way).
I felt obligated to write an “introductory post.” That sense of obligation is my problem with blogging. You might disagree, but I find the blogging world be a world of pressure. “Have good things to say” “Post regularly” “Keep it short and sweet” “Be funny, but don’t be too funny” “Develop on online identity.” and on and on it goes.
In past blogventures (blog + adventures, its a compound word?), I’ve felt this pressure and, quite honestly, crumbled beneath it. I’m going to consider myself done with that. So, I introduce my ”blog with no promises”. No gimmicks. No posting just to post. Just I’ll (maybe)post and you’ll (maybe)read.
Here’s what I’m delivering: the occasional 100% pure, unadulterated (okay, maybe slightly adulterated), trying-to-love-and-follow-Jesus braingrapes of Bailey
… when I feel like it.
@1 week agoRecent predominant trends in what lifegroups at Midtown are studying:
Crazy Love
Romans
Forgotten God
(Daniel/Esther/Galatians/Ephesians tied for 4th)
A significant amount of groups are currently learning from these.
Holy Spirit inspired? I think so.
@6 days ago“We want to gather saints and do church the way Jesus designed us to know each other, love each other, and take the Word of God preached and push it into each other’s hearts and hold on to people and never let ‘em go…!”
