the (maybe)daily bailey

I’ve been a pastor for just about 5 months now. These are a few things I’ve think I’ve been learning along the way:

1. Being a pastor is much more than simply keeping systems and programs of ministry running.
2. Being a pastor is a lot like being a soldier at war.
3. Like Paul, I believe 1 Timothy 1:15-17 is true of me too and that really makes things difficult sometimes(most of the time).
4. Neglecting to pursue God first and live my life with a constant view towards the Gospel equates to misery and makes the ability to pastor an impossibility.
5. God’s grace is greater than I could have ever imagined.
